The Centennial Valley lies along the Continental Divide just inside the Montana state line, between Yellowstone and the wildlands of central Idaho.
The Centennial Valley Association represents landowners of diverse backgrounds. Some have arrived in the valley recently while other fourth generation families work the ranches established by generations before them. Everyone shares concerns about the dramatic changes in the rural ranching landscape that is disappearing in surrounding valleys.
We think that the Centennial is special because of things that haven't changed. The human footprint is small, and large ranches are intact and unsubdivided. Our members believe that there is room for agriculture and wildlife, and that future generations should be able to witness the passing of seasons and the rhythm of life just as we have.
